Distinctive grip design includes a serrated inner surface to prevent slipping. Reflective strip down the sides increases nighttime visibility.         This is the best product for getting in or out of a boat from a dock that I have seen. It is very sturdy and has grip ridges so your hands do not slip in wet weather. So far I have found nothing that is not great about it. My dock is in salty tidewater and it is a perfect application. Some of my friends have ordered the product after seeing it installed.

                  Ordered based on positive reviews posted on line. However, the quality of the welds (where the rail attaches to the flanges at the bottom) is terrible: very rough, unsightly, and could easily cause a cut. Would not recommend especially if children or pets are present.
