dockmate This cast aluminum cleat is sand-blasted to a clean gray matte finish. Each cleat is designed with an extra-wide footprint for added strength. An enlarged counter-sink hole makes installation with a socket easy. Can be through-bolt or lag-bolted. Fasteners are not included with cleat.

    These S-Cleats are my favorite way to secure a pleasure craft to a dock. They are a perfect size for the typical recreational boater, but would also work well for some professional craft. The aluminum won't age in years of use, and is smooth so as to not wear lines prematurely. They are available in multiple sizes, but the smallest one will do nicely for most boaters. I like the way the hardware ends-up countersunk into the cleat. All you need to add is some galvanized or stainless hardware and you are set.

    Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
