dockmate This cast aluminum cleats is sand-blasted to a clean, gray, matte finish. Each cleat is designed with an extra-wide footprint for added strength. An enlarged counter-sink hole makes installation easy with a socket. Can be through-bolt or lag-bolted. Fasteners are not included with cleats.

    Substantially made cleat cast in a poor mold. Required 10 minutes with a dremel and file to remove flash and irregular surfaces, particularly in the hole between the cleat legs.

    Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

    This dock cleat is good for smaller crafts, I did have to file out a parting fin inside the hole, or I would be cutting my dock rope.

    Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
