Some of the hardware shipped was not the right size. One of the pre-drilled holes was a quarter inch mis-placed, so that the piece to be bolted on would not fit. Once I drilled out the hole, bought the right hardware and got it installed, it looks great and, more importantly, is extremely comfortable to use.

The angle of the ladder should be closer to 90 degrees to reduce stress on the hold down hardware. The hold down hard ware is not enough to keep the ladder from coming off in heavy waves and falling to the bottom of the lake. It happened four time before I modified the design to secure it to the dock permanently.

I would like to know how long this ladder is from the bottom to the top step. The length from the bottom of our lake to the top of my deck is 6feet 8inches

          • CUSTOMER CARE

            A:

It is 12inches between each step of the ladder. So on a 5 step ladder it will would be 4 feet from the top step to the bottom of the ladder.
