Q:My dock is 5'4" to the bottom of the lake. Can you make this ladder longer?Asked on 5/13/2014 by Ray from Clay Twp., MI
A:This folding ladder only comes in a 4-step version which will extend approximately 4 feet from the top of the dock. We have a non-folding version that can flip up and release for easy removal and it comes in a variety of sizes from 3-step to 7-step. See link below. The 5-step of this version will extend approximately 5 feet from the top of your dock which puts the first step of your ladder very close to the bottom of your lake. Keep in mind that the ladder mounts to your dock and does not need to extend to the bottom. It only needs to be deep enough so you can reach the bottom step while pulling yourself up the ladder.
