Comments about Dockmate 3-Step Stationary Dock Ladder:

I've been looking for a replacement dock for our lake deck for a few years. I didn't want anything too high or too obtrusive. This is perfect. After the easy installation, I realized that it will also be easy to pull out of the lake at the end of the season. This should make it last for many years. I can't speak to it's durability yet, since it's been in the water less than two weeks. I know Overton's will back any product that doesn't perform as promised, so I'm not concerned about that.

Comments about Dockmate 3-Step Stationary Dock Ladder:

Easy assembly. Sturdy. All necessary hardware is included. Easy to take off when not in use if you want to. I couldn't use the washer and nut due to the thickness of my dock boards so I used long screws and it seems to hold the bracket well.

If the ladder is mounted atop a cement dock wall, how far is the bottom of the ladder from the wall?

                A:

Thanks for your question. On this 3-step ladder the inside of the ladder will be about 8" off the wall and the front of the ladder will be 13" off the wall. The distance from the top of the wall to the bottom step will be approximately 34".

Yes. This ladder does rest against the decking. The length of the section on top of the deck will be about 10" including the anchor.

Does the bottom need to rest on the pond floor or is he ladder ok to hang?

                A:

The ladder is meant to be mounted and rest only on the dock...no need to hit floor of the body of water.
