        I was going to use them to add some light to the dock area but lights are really too dim for that purpose, however nice decoration and I like that you can change color of light. They do keep birds off pilings as sharp tip on top also. Depending on what you are looking for I would recommend.

          My swim dock extends out 150 ft from shore and I needed marker lights on it for other boaters safety for those no moon nights. I have been asked by several people about where I got them. They provide adequate lighting for safety but don't expect to read a book by them .
