Bulldog must really be confused with this. If you hold the product in both hands with a hook in each one, and the hook pointing down, then this is how you hook it on the string. No need to mark anything. Hand cocking is harder than useing a crank, but it's also the fastest way. Do your research on the pro's & con's between hand cocking & crank cocking. This product is well made, and works flawlessly for what it's intended purpose is. There will always be some who like it and some who don't. If hand cocking is to hard for you, then yes, go to a crank.

My Roller Rocker broke the first time that I attempted to load my Parker Enforcer Crossbow. Pieces went flying...lucky my bow was not damaged.

will this work on an Eastman X-force 300?
Asked on 1/24/2010 by disabled hunter from northern mn

                  1 answer

                  • A:

As long as you have the strength then it should work. The only thing you have to be aware of is the length of the rope. Not all brands are the same. Some are shorter in length than others. This can be fixed by purchaseing your own cord to replace , if the one you have is to short for your bow. But you also need to know the strength rateing of your cord. It should be as great or greater than the poundage of your bow. I hope this helps, and good luck and enjoy your crossbow.

                • Q:

Can a crossbow be "uncocked" or does it have to be fired to release the string in the draw position?
Asked on 9/28/2009 by Brad from Clio, MI

                    A:

For the most part the majority of Crossbows do have to be fired to release or "uncock" the crossbow in the fire or draw position. However there are a few Crossbows that have a "cocking" device that may allow you the ability to release without firing. I do hope that this has helped answered your questions but if you have any further questions or concerns please do not hesitate to contact us here at Gander Mountain and we will be glad to assist you.
