Ordered and received a pair of these lights. Noticed that one of the lights' lenses were clouded. Since it's a sealed light, I couldn't wipe off the white powder that was on the inside. Called for a replacement. Received the replacement and one of the lenses was cloudy again!! Called again and received a third set of lights. Both were clear and now I need to install them. I suspect that Overton's got a bad batch of lights, however, there's no excuse for sending a bad replacement. Someone wasn't thinking.

Put the lights on my T top They were only on there about a week when I noticed one of them has about a quarter inch of water in it. It rained but can't figure out how it got into the light and don't see how I can get it out as it appears sealed but apparently not water tight.

The aluminum housing works great. It eliminated all of the back-light that we were getting from our previous lights.

FIRST SET WAS NOT LED BUT HALAGON! Installed on boat according to instructions. Lights got VERY hot - dangerous for anyone near lights! Brackets would not hold light tightly

Bright, and easy to mount.
However, towed boat and got rained on...lights have about an inch of water in each of them from the rain. Not impressed...

These were replacement lights for my halogens on my pontoon boat. They come with a complete kit to facilitate easy installation and lamp parts are either stainless steel or aluminum so saltwater won't be an issue. Plenty of light with them!

Was looking for some metal docking lights after my plastic pair broke loose. These were expensive, but looked great. The bracket only allows installation through the boat deck, which assumes you can fasten the stainless steel nut to the through-bolt. On our boat, there is no way to access the underside of the deck, short of dismantling the boat. A surface-mount is the only way to go, but there is no option for that. To modify it required me to remove the screw holding the lamp to the bracket. Sounds simple enough, and the screw is designed to be removed to allow aiming of the lights up/down. The screw was so tight, however, the head came off when I used a ratchet to loosen it. I had to drill the screw out! What a royal pain in the you know what! On the second light, it took over 10 minutes and lots of WD-40 to slowly back the screw out. The stainless bracket itself is what the screw drives into, there is no nut or lock washer - the bracket is the nut. POOR DESIGN. A new stainless screw, nut and lockwasher and I was back in business. For [$], I would expect both through-mount and surface mount options. Would not recommend unless you can access the deck underneath.

Very good construction and easy to install on the radar wing. The LED lights are very bright.
