covermate The unique contour design of the Covermate Pro Cover offers the best fit for the finest protection for your PWC. Fits Yamaha Wave Venture 1100, 760 '95-'97. This incredible cover fits so well, it prevents wind whip that could cause damage to your craft when trailering. Made of 100% OEM-grade 7.25-oz. 600-denier fabric with 4-ply seams, the cover is extremely strong and durable. A polyurethane coating provides superior water repellency. Lightweight and easy to handle, this Pro Cover is solution-dyed to resist fading and treated to resist mildew and UV rays. Features a 1/4" shock cord sewn in the hem and web straps with quick-release buckles for trouble-free trailering. Comes with a free oversized mesh storage bag. 5-year limited warranty.

    This cover looked great but was in shreds in less than 6 weeks. Fabric was too lightweight to withstand wind. Can't patch it because fabric wouldn't hold a patch and the rips were all over. A real disappointment that wasn't cheap to begin with.

                    A:

                    No, this cover is not waterproof, it is water resistant. So if you want it waterproof, you would have to add that additional agent.

                    You do not want to waterproof the cover. there is a good reason why they are only water resistant and NOT waterproof. The jet ski is designed to get wet but a waterproof cover will keep the moisture inside and will quickly mildew the ski. You want the cover to "breath". The purpose of the cover is not to provide a garage for the ski but to keep and protect it from the harmful UV rays of the sun and other outside elements other than water.
