Imperial Pro Covers have an exclusive venting system that offers extra protection against mildew. Tough enough for trailering, all Covermate Semi-Custom Boat Covers are tight fitting with a unique over/under tie-down system that delivers "no flap" trailering. A reflective strip at the back provides added safety when trailering, day or night. Double-stitched, double-ply seams combined with sewn-in reinforcement panels at high-wear points provide added strength and durability. the cover is advertised as being trailerable,
this would apply only to short local trips to your closest lake.
we pulled the boat from colorado to bear lake utah. the cover has way too much slack to handle longer trips, the flapping of the cover even when drawn snug tore the straps and broke several of the clips before even getting 50 miles down the road. we had to hand tie the cover and cut and exchange straps in order to continue our trip. the return trip involved an hour or so of modifying the factory straps and utilizing aditional ratchet straps all over the cover to get it home in one piece. this unfortunately is only a temporary solution until spending much more money on a custom tonneau
