covermate Providing outstanding protection to your pontoon boat, this cover is made of Covermate HD 600 marine-grade polyester fabric. Offers superior water resistance and protection from UV rays. The silver reflective fabric helps keep your pontoon boat cooler on hot summer days. Double-stitched, double-ply seams add strength and durability. Includes quick-release buckles and straps. Buckles at the back let you easily attach the cover to the u-bolts on your boat. Sewn-in draw cord for a tight fit. Comes with FREE oversized mesh storage bag. Not recommended for trailering. Five-year warranty.

    Good Suncover.....

    We use this cover to protect our pontoon on the trailer. A good support system (we made our own from PVC pipe) allows the cover to support snow and shed some water.

    We use this cover to protect our pontoon on the trailer. A good support system (we made our own from PVC pipe) allows the cover to support snow and shed some water.

    It leaks leaks badly though. The patches that are sown into the cover to keep the tie downs in place leak and it leaks water in general. We'll use it in the summer to keep the sun off of it but I'll use a cheap tarp for winter storage. I will not replace it with another cover like this.

      The 17'-20' cover was too short for my 20' pontoon boat by 4'. I question if this one was made for the 17-20' range as listed or was it for a shorter boat and miss-labeled. Design looked good and silver (reflective) outer surface seems like a good idea - dark covers seem to deteriorate quickly. I have to exchange this cover, so I do not have an opinion on the durability.

        We were a little concerned about a cover and the ease of using it on a pontoon boat but this definitely was a good buy. We have only had it for a few months but we are happy with it so far. My husband did build a support system for it and this has definitely helped so if you are handy I would suggest you do build your own as they help in the ease of covering the boat and the kits are expensive.
