Excellent overall protection for your investment, Covermate Centurion Pro Boat Covers are made of a 65% polyester/35% cotton fabric that's breathable, water-repellent, and mildew and UV-resistant. Tough enough for trailering, all Covermate Semi-Custom Boat Covers are tight fitting with a unique over/under tie-down system that delivers "no flap" trailering. Double-stitched, double-ply seams combined with sewn-in reinforcement panels at high-wear points provide added strength and durability. Covermate Semi-Custom Boat Covers come with quick-release buckles, straps, and a unique mesh storage bag for convenience. 3-year limited warranty.

For trailering, the boat and trailer tend to move independently. This can put extra strain on the straps and cover. I suggest that the straps be connected to the boat only. Connecting to the trailer should be OK for storage, not trailering.
