Comments about Costa Del Mar Tuna Alley Sunglasses - Blackout Frame/Blue Mirror 400G Lens:

I bought a pair of Costas last summer. I was very careful with the glasses and took good care of them. Last fall I noticed the rubber was coming loose from the temples and sent them in to get a repair. I was told at the time of purchase how great the warranty was. Well, what I found to be the case wasn't that great. Costa charged me to send the glasses in and I had to pay for shipping. Kind of expected that. The repair should have been under warranty since the rubber started to come off the temples, but they had me pay for the repair. I sent them in tortoise shell frames, but when I got the return they sent me flat black. When I contacted them they wanted me to ship the frames in again so they could give me the correct ones. Well, I wasn't going to pay for shipping again so I just kept the black ones. Don't know that I will get another pair after this experience and if I did I certainly wouldn't get a pair the with no slip rubber on the temples because it didn't even make through one summer on that last pair. Didn't expect that from sunglasses that cost almost $200.
