I wanted the shirt for both kayaking & bicycling to protect me from the sun and mosquitos. It was stylish enough I found I could slip it on at the kids' baseball games on cool evenings and be comfortable. I liked the hidden zip pockets. When they are zipped up, you can't tell they are there. The mesh back with flap helps keep me cool when it is hot.

This shirt is not meant to be fitted, which is perfect for outdoor activities. I love the zip pockets, I can fit my driver's license, fishing license, etc, plus chapstick. I have it in 2 colors
