This is a medium weight cotton sweatshirt material full-zip jacket with stand up collar, that is great for throwing on to take off a chill. It will also work well as a layer under my light down jacket, since it is not a hoody. I especially like the way the collar sits, either pulled up against a chill to the neck (stands up well), or it easily lays flat. I am 5'7, 130 lbs and normally wear a medium, but got this in a large and it fits perfectly. Typical Columbia good quality.
