The Melting Point Parka combines Columbia's three most advanced technologies-Omni-Dry, Omni-Heat, and Omni-Shield-into a waterproof-breathable jacket and a heavily insulated liner jacket to protect you on extreme adventures in extremely cold weather. Omni-Dry fabric allows sweat to evaporate quickly, while preventing precipitation from soaking in. For even more waterproof security, Omni-Shield advanced repellency coating repels water and stains and dries 3 - 5 times faster than untreated fabric. The liner jacket keeps you super warm with Omni-Heat technology, which utilizes a breathable, reflective, heat-trapping liner and recycled, low-bulk, thermal insulation. In addition to these complex fabrics, anti-abrasion panels are bonded at the shoulders and hips for durability, and stretch panels on the liner jacket provide mobility and breathability. Adjustable storm hood is removable. Features underarm vents, 2-way waterproof chest zipper, removable snap back powder skirt, Invizzip pockets, security and mesh goggle pockets, Inferno pockets, and articulated elbows.
