Comments about Wesbar Coiled Trailer Connectors - 7-Blade Round Plug to 5/4-Wire Flat Plug:
I needed this for transporting my new boat. I almost bought one just like it from a National Tool company who also deals with a lot of trailer accessories. Sure glad I didn't since they were charging much more than I paid. I could have bought one similar from my boat manufacturer but that one would have only been 18". This one expands to like 3' and costs the same. It works GREAT.

Comments about Wesbar Coiled Trailer Connectors - 7-Blade Round Plug to 5/4-Wire Flat Plug:
I use the 3 foot 7 round to 5 pin flat extender to connect my boat trailer to my tow vehicles. It works great and is constructed for heavy use. It is especially helpful when backing around tight corners at some of the boat ramps that we use. No more worrying if we are going to pull the trailer wirering apart.

CUSTOMER CARE
A:
Yes, as long as you have a 7-blade round, this should work for you without any connection shortage.Answered on 7/21/2009 by Ryan from OvertonsVERIFIED BUYER
A:
It should work fine the open pin on the 5 wire flat connector is for a back up brake release solenoid on your trailers surge brakes. If you don't have one the pin is not used so it will not be energized.Answered on 7/16/2010 by Rick the boater from Franklin, WI
