Product Description
cobra Stay in constant communication with the Cobra CXT 425 Two-Way Radio. Rugged design with an extended communication range of up to 25 miles. Built-in NOAA receiver gives you important storm and emergency updates. Voice-activated transmission that frees your hands for other tasks. A total of 2662 channel combinations are available when the Cobra's 22 channels are combined with its 142 privacy codes (38 CTCSS/104 DCS). Save as many as 10 channels in the memory and scan as many as you would like. Illuminated LCD display provides easy operation even at night. Choose between high-power setting to maximize range and low-power setting to conserve battery life. Each unit operates on 4 AAA alkaline batteries (not included). Belt clip secures the radio while on the go.

    Product great but I am NOT Happy about the Rebate program. I ordered it online because it was sold out at the store. You had over two weeks before the end of the year and I didn't receive an email till Jan 1, 2012 that you were processing rebate. Well, it is Jan 20th and I still have NOT received my rebate! Why?

      A major disappointment right out of the package. One unit does not receive at all. The other unit does not scan properly and icons for certain functions do not appear. I would not consider relying on this product for use in the field. Returning for refund.

          i bought this 2 way radio on black friday @ gandermtn. It was on sale for [$] after mail in rebate. I have use this device the next day during my gun deer season. it works great, you can hear the voice clearly. looking forward to buy a second set.
