Product DescriptionThe unique shank configuration of the Chene anchor allows for 45° of holding surface, so the large flukes penetrate deeply. Slip shank angle makes the anchor 100% retrievable. Can be retrieved straight up without the use of a separate trip line. High-tensile zinc-plated steel construction. Not for use with anchor chains. Use anchor rope only.

Q:33824 how much does it wiegh? why notuse a chain?Asked on 5/9/2009 by dooman from cleveland oh. area
A:This item weighs 8lbs and does not use an anchor chain because the design of this anchor causes the flukes to pop up and not hold if a chain is used. The weight of the anchor chain pulls the top of the anchor down and causes the flukes not to hold properly.Answered on 5/13/2009 by Ryan from Overtons
