    This is my first Carhartt coat and it will be getting some fashion updates to really make it become a WoW factor. BF is an avid hunter and I've asked for a red fox; plan is to add it to the collar and cuffs. (PS-if I get the old red paint I'll wear it proudly.)

    The collar does have snaps under for a hood but have not located a Carhartt in same color as the green coat. Coat seems extremely warm(purchased in spring) and feel it will keep me toasty this winter while being out on the ranch in MO and on trips to NY and out west.

        This is a great durable coat for work. I ordered the 2X and I am a size 16/18. It runs bigger than I thought it would. I could have worn the XL, but it will be great for layering. It is very warm and I highly recommend. If you are short, it will be long on you. I'm 5'9" and the length is perfect.

        This coat is extremely warm and rugged. It won't get torn up when walking through the woods through brush with thorns. It hides dirt pretty well! I'm somebody who's always very cold...this coat actually keeps me warm! Not the most flattering look, but hey, it's meant to be a work coat! My only complaint is that it is very stiff. I know it will soften up over time though. I did some research on softening it up & tried washing it w/ tennis balls & sneakers, but it's still going to take a while to break in. I can tell that it will last years....excellent quality, & best of all, I got an incredible bargain at Gander Mountain...best price on web, by far! Very quick, free shipping! Can't beat that! Very satisfied 1st time customer! I'll be back for more! Thank you!
