I have a drawer full of knit caps, easily 1/2 doz are carhartt. I have been wearing this one for several yrs, no holes, tears or signs of wear other than the navy blue has faded from the sun. It's thinner and cooler than the A18 and much less bulky. I pull my down over my ears right down to the top of my sunglasses for that cholo/biker look. Chicks dig it.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
I own 4 of these hats in different colors, and they are fantastic. Very comfortable and warm. I wear them when I do anything outdoors in the cold. I wear them when bowhunting, mowing, cutting firewood, hiking, walking, you name it....great product.
