Great product: Dependable, rugged, and the "go-to" industry standard for solid work clothes. This has to be about my 10th pair. They typically don't wear out (I mostly hand them down to family members who don't own any). They just keep going. Two suggestions if you are buying: First, get them at least two sizes larger in the waist than you typically wear in pants. Those hand-me-downs I just mentioned? Many have been given away b/c I ordered them too small on the waist. I'd even go three sizes as this allows for some shrinkage and layering underneath (I have only regretted getting them too small, not too large). Let me be clear: I wear about a 35 waist; yet my CH overalls I order are 40 waists. Also, order some insertable knee pads (after 15 years, I have seen the light. The really work well with these pants). bottom line: Near perfect product from a company that makes honest products at a very honest price.

I purchased this pair of bibs the beginning of december 2011, and almost every hem on them is tearing out and are full of holes, the double knee had a hole in them within two weeks . I am a shop foreman in a welding/fabrication shop, so my coveralls do see tough duty. but these bibs are ready to be replaced. It seems as if they are made of poor material, i have a pair of insulated bibs I have had for about 10 years and are showing some wear but it is like the new ones are made by a completely different company. I think I am going to try a different brand. A few of my guys have also recently purchased uninsulated bibs and are experiencing the same problems with the seems and hems.

The Duck Carpenter Bib ...

Comments about Carhartt Mens Unlined Duck Bib Overall:

The Duck Carpenter Bib Overall is my favorite overall for its attached six-pocket nail apron for carrying tools and objects for projects that require items in reach, its heavyweight duck material that provides comfort and durability, and Carhartt standard for quality. I have three that I wear for working, riding horses or casual, and I intend to buy more in the future.

best pair of overalls I have ever owend

Comments about Carhartt Mens Unlined Duck Bib Overall:

They are made to last, I use them for out door landscaping work and other out side hard working conditions . I just bought a new pair dark brown , The pair that I have been using are 3 years old and I just tore a hole in the double knee outer layer . but still for what I do for a living I say thats not to bad ! thank goodness for the the double knee .
I only wish Carhartt had not discontinued the Green coveralls . It would be great if they made patches out of the same material for the outer layer double knees . Anyway I give Carhartt clothing a big two thumbs up .

Comments about Carhartt Mens Unlined Duck Bib Overall:

Very efficient, better than wearing a separate apron or tool belt...Just need to remember to empty ALL the pockets before laundry day!
