Shoulder strap clips are junk - zipper doesnt go down far enough you pretty much have to take them off to use the restroom - But are very warm so serve the main purpose as to why I bought them

Q:
Will this product keep you warm with temps at 30 degrees. Looking for something in the winter months for fishing inland water ways. also it water proof during rains.
If not what would you recommedAsked on 10/15/2010 by tommy from north florida2 answers
A:
I live in Northern MN, and wear mine while ice fishing in temps down to -30F, plowing snow on a tractor with no cab, and doing farm chores. They are very warm, many times I find myself removing my jacket if doing something strenuous or I get overheated. In 30 degree temps, they might actually be TOO warm.
As for waterproof....I can't personally say, they're made of a heavy canvas type material, so you could spray them with a water repellent.Answered on 12/7/2010 by Chickenhauler from Rutledge MNA:
I bought these last year for ice fishing during the sale. I can not say enough good things about them. They are amazing, I just wear a pair of long johns and jeans under them and I am good to go. Kneeling next to a hole jigging or walking around never got cold once. If you are a bigger guy like I am make sure that you wear a base layer to keep the sweat off of you. Yeah they are that warm, in my honest opinion of course.Answered on 12/10/2010 by ObliviousBigJoe from Milwaukee, Wisconsin
