bought it a few years ago so i could keep smoke away from me when i went to karaoke. works like a charm. i have a hard time breathing in humid weather it give a very nice breeze. runs quitely, head pivits in any direction. lost the detachable fan head so i bought another so i could use the one i have. a child can grab the soft plastic blade it might scare them but it won't hurt them or cut them the blade will stop. love it!
