        I didn't use the suction cups to mount. Used zipties to connect to my tower, works great, seems very durable. Time will time how it holds up to UV rays.

            I use it on a pontoon. Here's the "but" part. I tossed the suction cup, drilled two holes in the flange, and screwed it to the railing with stainless steel tapping screws. The flange is wide enough to pull that off.

            Pefect! I'm buying three more this year.

            the product won't stay on side of boat by drivers seat like needed falls off after a few seconds. does not perform like advertised. and rail of pontoon boat is too thick to hang it over.
