Comments about Berkley Gulp! Alive! Minnow, 1", 2.1 oz.:
In my previous review I've mentioned a problem with bottle. If you remove sealer from the top of the bottle, it is a real mess unless bottle is faced up. The solution is: Do not remove it completely. Accurately lift it just enough for your fingers to get the bait out of the container. I would say lift like half of it. When you closing the bottle, close it with its sealer that still attached to the bottle. In this case bottle doesn't leak in your pocket even if it is upside down.

Comments about Berkley Gulp! Alive! Minnow, 1", 2.1 oz.:
Couple of years ago it wasn't my favorite product. Used to use nymph 1" for jigging and even today prefer it to anything else. Believe it or not gulp 1" is a nice alternative to the irresistable nymph. I've tried it just for fun, when none of the bait worked in one of the hot sunny day and I've got a bite. Then another and another. Crappie, sunfish, catfish, muskies, pearch, bass. I've got a pail of different kinds of fish in a summer season.
Later, I used it for ice fishing and it was very successfull even when people got no bites at all with regular wax worms. I cannot say which color is better, all of them worked. My favorite colors are the clear white(glow) and yellow one. The only problem is in carry it with you because the bottle has a leak and once its out in your pocket or bag,the strong, unpleasant odor stays for a very long time. Keep the bottle up, always. Also, try not to touch it if you have fresh cuts on your skin, really painful like lemon juice on your cut. Other than that, outstanding product.

Comments about Berkley Gulp! Alive! Minnow, 1", 2.1 oz.:
I started using these earlier in the year for sun fish. (bait for flatheads) I was really suprised how good they worked. Now the weather is cold i have used them for steelhead and crappies. and done well. They are very good for crappies slowly retrieved on a light jig head. and were ok for steelhead too fished the same way. I would not have beieved it but sometimes they really do out fish live bait. Cons, lid leaks so keep it upright.
