Since ammo is becoming so expensive or unavailable I bought the PX4 to be able to keep up on target practice. Living in the Burbs you can actually use this in your back yard without the neighbors having a noise problem. It's pretty accurate at 20 ft.
The cool thing about this gun is it actually has blow back of the slide with each shot. Just like a real semi auto. This is an exact replica of the real PX4 and weighs about the same as the actual gun. Comes with a slide safety which takes some getting use to but still allows you to safety the gun after use.
The double ended magazine allows you to just flip the mag after your first 8 rounds to fire 8 more. You can tell when the CO2 is running out when the blow back doesn't set back the hammer. Good for about 40 rounds.

Just received Beretta PX4 Storm today. Shot about 48 rounds of good quality wadcutter style pellets using both ends of the magazine. Then both clips stopped rotating with each trigger pull. Had to eject the magazine and rotate the clips manually for each shot. Nothing is sheared off the plastic clips so the advancing mechanism in the gun may be jammed or broken. I will contact Umarex USA for advice. It's now hard to believe this gun will be reliable after this.

Comments about Beretta PX4 Storm Air Pistol:
I bought this pistol to use for practice rather than using one of my more expensive-to-shoot firearms. It's a passable immitation of a real pistol but I have to "count to five" between shots otherwise the pressure in the CO2 cartridge drops and the pistol loses it's accuracy. Still it's reasonably accurate on slow fire at ranges between fifteen and twenty feet.

Comments about Beretta PX4 Storm Air Pistol:
i got this gun a while ago, it shoots accurate and hits hard. this is no cheepo gun either it looks and feels like a real 9mm. the only problem i had is the pen that rotates the magazine broke and i had to send it in to get fixed but it was all covered under warranty and it has been shooting great ever since. i'm pretty sure this doesn't happen often though because like i said it is high quality

Comments about Beretta PX4 Storm Air Pistol:
Did Gander Mtn. employees write all of the reviews? I bought this based on the excellent reviews. It is wildly inaccurate and under powered. At 10ft...if you can actually hit it...it barely has enough power to pierce one side of a beer can. very disappointed.

Comments about Beretta PX4 Storm Air Pistol:
[...] Now, on to the good stuff...I am an avid hunter and wanted something to play around with other than a .22 (this is cheaper). This gun is almost exact weight as the real beretta .40 I have. The blowback is the closest thing you can get to a real hand gun. The gun can rack off 8 shots in a row as fast as you can pull, so long as you use the RECOMMENDED ammunition (BB's and FLAT HEAD pellets) and I cannot stress flat head pellets enough...using pointed or domed pellets WILL JAM THE GUN. So far this little gun works on all small game (squirrels, crows, and rabbit) provided you have the correct small game license of course. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for fun!

Comments about Beretta PX4 Storm Air Pistol:
Love it !!! I have a Beretta PX4 9mm and you can't tell the difference unless you see it close up. It's great for plinking, target, and the occasional varmit eradication.
What I really like is that it has the balance of the real PX4 which helps when I go to the range as I gain a lot of muscle memory accuracy by just practicing at home with the air gun version.

Comments about Beretta PX4 Storm Air Pistol:
I purchased this air-gun to provide a low-cost alternative to target shooting of a handgun. I am a veteran and went through marksmanship training a long time ago but that was for long-guns.
This gives me a chance to improve my handgun tactics without a large expense or a lot of noise.

Q:
Do you carry this product to accompany the Beretta "Walther Night Force Flashlight & Laser, Integral Weaver/Picatinny Mount."Asked on 12/15/2009 by Shell1 answer
A:
I am not exactly sure what you mean. But this air gun can be equipped with the [Intergral Weaver/Picatinny Mount, laser and flashlight, but not the mock suppressor] since the barrel is not extended. If you mean does Gander Mountain carry the Recon Version of this gun(which has all of the above specified)then no. If you are looking for the Recon Version then recommend that you go to a Gander Mountain retail store instead where you can choose from many varieties. I hope this answered your question.Answered on 1/18/2010 by AzNd3v1L6 from New York, NY
Q:
Does this air gun come with .177 bbs in a box. Also does it come with a jamming rod and do you sell chamber lubes and spring cylinder oil to maintain the gun? Lastly, do you sell spare magazines (double clips); as I have been unable to find the majority of these products except for the bbs.Asked on 11/11/2009 by AzNd3v1L6 from Brooklyn, NY1 answer
A:
This gun does not come with CO2 cartridges or BBs/Pellets. It can fire ANY variety of BBs/Pellets however, as long as they are .177/4,5mm caliber. No "jamming" rods are needed or supplied. Chamber lubes are not required unless you are cleaning. Pellgunoil is available to lubricate the CO2 cartridge, and residual oil is blown down the bore during the first few shots. Included is on double-ended 8 shot-rotary clip, and extras are available. Usually sold in two packs.
One other note, NYC law prohibits you from purchasing, using, or possessing this weapon without a handgun permit, as it is considered a firearm. This includes ALL boroughs of NYC and Long Island.Answered on 12/4/2009 by Mike from Adirondacks, NY

Q:
How strong is the trigger pull?Asked on 5/2/2009 by Anonymous1 answer
A:
It has a double action which you can feel while pulling the trigger. About half way back on a long pull you feel the engagement of the mag which rotates in a new pellet. Then it is just a couple of pounds of pull to fire. Feels just like a a real semi auto. Great for introducing newbies to semi auto shooting.Answered on 5/14/2009 by beretta fan from eastern PA

No, you don't. You need to be 18 or have an 18-year-old to buy it for you. If you aren't 18, you can still shoot it, but need to prove responsible.Answered on 4/13/2009 by RANGESHOOTER from Chicago, ILA:
Since this weapon is not considred a firearm, no permit is needed. You must be 18 years of age to purchase this product, but may carry it at any age, only in specified places. if you wish to carry this weapon in a hip, leg, or a shoulder holster, make sure the gun is visible to the public. It is not illegal to carry in public, but would most likley not be a good idea.Answered on 11/25/2009 by jacob from New CAstle, IN
