Comments about Bending Branches Whisper Paddle - 94.5" (240 cm):

This is my 2nd pair.. The last ones I owned I sold with my kayak last year due to loss of work (I owned them for 2 years). Now I have a new yak on the way and repurchased the Whispers. No complaints, light weight, the seam is tighter than more pricey paddles when snapped together and that was a big factor between these and others I tryed. Easy flow in and out of water as paddling, easy on the hands too.. I paddle 3-4 days a week, 8-10 mile each trip. Im 6' with Oldtown kayak, I got the 230cm again. The last post that said they broke-must have been a defect, just dont crank on them pushing off the shore/ground - For paddling I crank on them all I can give em' racing friends. Great price compaired to the comps for half the price. I bought them in person due to the slight oval grip in the shaft for hands> some shaft ovals felt better than others or more even(that is the only small headsup for this product) . I rated 5 for everything considered at price point. Great Lakes and rivers Michigan.

I used it in a jon Boat. Was too short for my application, but it worked. Would like two additional feet as I was standing up.

Comments about Bending Branches Whisper Paddle - 94.5" (240 cm):

I wanted an inexpensive and versitle paddle to take to the lake or play in the surf. After much debate I chose this one. I am 6'2" and have a 30" wide boat so I wanted 240cm length (which was hard to find at this price point). I was glad to find a company known for quality such as Bending Branches had what I was looking for.

Comments about Bending Branches Whisper Paddle - 94.5" (240 cm):

The first day I took it out the paddle snapped between the aluminum shaft and the plastic paddle leaving me to improvise by treating my kayak as a canoe. Before breaking the paddle could best be described as "flimsy" and "wobbly". Unlike most things you can buy at Gander Mountain this product was an absolute waste of money.
