Comments about Barefoot International Bass Boat Ski Pylon:
We bought this in time for Labor Day weekend. Installation was a snap. We have a Triton bass boat and it worked perfectly on it. We were on the water all weekend, tubing, wakeboarding and kneeboarding, and everyone agreed it was great. The top could be improved for when you want to pull 2 people.

Comments about Barefoot International Bass Boat Ski Pylon:
I installed this on a mid-90s Astro Bass/Ski boat. The spacing was tight in the bass boat but by installing the angles next to the air scuppers I was able to easily position and mount the fittings. I don't have a bass boat seat base so I simply drilled the aluminum fill plate and filled the extra space under the fill plate with a couple pieces of wood. The metal is quite attractive and seems as strong as needed. I really appreciate the simple, durable construction and well-fitting parts. It looks real cool on my boat. Now it no longer looks like a fishing boat, it looks like a kick butt ski boat.

I have a Javilin 363FS and was afaid to purchace this product because I wasn't sure if it would fit on my boat. I found out very shortly that it not only fit but fit as discribed and was back in the water after 20 minutes of install and clean up. I love this tripod it has made tubing and skiing alot more enjoyable for me as a driver and for my family.

I have a SX170 2004 Skeeter bass boat, will this product work for this boat? All I want to pull is one person tubing. I have used back rings on boat and it works well, just concerned about causing any damage to fiberglass.Asked on 6/25/2012 by slyfoxnot from Lufkin, Texas1 answer
A:
Please do not use this pylon for pulling towables. It is a very dangerous thing to do. Only use it for sking, wakeboarding, wakeskating, and kneeboarding. If you must know why call our technical department and we will give you the lecture!Answered on 10/2/2012 by Justin from Overton's
Q:
I have a 92 fish and ski and I'm installing this product. The pylon that I'm installing has threads and screws into my seat hole. Do i still need to to access the underside to put the pin in? If so i'll have to unsrew the fuel tank and move it in order to access the underside. Or is it suppose to be that easy (screw in/screw out)and fix the arms?Asked on 6/16/2012 by JC from Goldsboro, NC0 answers

CUSTOMER CARE
A:
31" main pylon with telescoping braces from 33" to 52". Must be used with 3/4" pin type base plate (not included) Just make sure from the mounting place to above the motor is under 52 inches.Answered on 3/25/2010 by Bryant from Tech
Q:
Does this or any other pylon fit a 1997 Rendevouz deck boat?Asked on 3/19/2010 by Lakechick from Lake of the Ozarks, MO1 answer
A:
cant say for shure, but sa long as it has a rear deck with a 3/4" pedistal base or one can be put in and the hight of the the pylon from the top of the deck is taller than the motor it will work. The braces will move to any posission, although a 30 degree or so angle outword would give the greatest strenght at all angles of pull. Hope this helps LakechickAnswered on 5/10/2010 by Wild Fly from Fairchilds, Texas
