Comments about Barska Optics Atlantic Waterproof Binoculars:

I bought these for my husband to use when hunting. He said they work great and are easy to focus and see clearly. I have used them but sometimes have a hard time when I am wearing my glasses. Overall, they are very good for the price.

Comments about Barska Optics Atlantic Waterproof Binoculars:

worked great out hunting mule deer in big sky country. light, compact but could see deer well at long distance. Got strap caught on something and broke one of the strap loops, otherwise very happy. I just took and tied the other mount on with cord. Used them for years now, still clear and great.

Good compromise between cheapo binoc and the $300 range (I also have the nikon monarch ATB's). Bought these as a gift for another hunter. For the $$$ they are not bad!

Comments about Barska Optics Atlantic Waterproof Binoculars:

After considerable research and consulting with other hunters, I purchased a pair of Barska 10 x 42 Atlantic binoculars (Model # AB10878). I thought they would be a good quality product from a reputable company. It was a mistake. After less than two weeks of light use (scouting from my car) the rubber hand holds came off. The glue just failed (See picture). I contacted the manufacturer (Barska). Not only did they insist that I return the binoculars at my expense, but they wanted to charge me a $30 "warranty fee". After I complained they did waived the fee, but I still had to pay to ship them back. I got another pair of Atlantic binoculars about 2 weeks later. Again, after a couple of weeks of light use, a day before the start of the hunting season, they broke in half! (see picture). This time I took them back to the retailer I bought them from (Gander Mountain) and they replaced them immediately with no hassle. Unfortunately, they replaced them with another pair of Barska binoculars.

Bottom line, the quality of the Barska binoculars was very poor. The optics seemed fine, but the workmanship was terrible. In addition, the customer service from Barska inadequate to say the least. I would not ever purchase a Barska product again!
