Comments about Barefoot International Deluxe Universal Contour Boom:
Was debating whether to buy the Barefoot International boom, or a Bemman boom. So glad we bought the BI boom! This boom is so strong and stable, which really makes is much safer to use than other booms. This BI boom is solid aluminum, so it's heavier, but because it's solid it doesn't spring back when a skier falls. It's also much better to use for advanced tricks like walking out from the boat at full speed directly on to the boom, or when using it for advanced turn tricks, or jumps. Doesn't flex and sling-shot you at all. A barefooter doesn't want a stretch rope, so why would you want a sling-shot boom? (You don't!) The handle is also smaller than other booms, so it's much easier to grip directly - greatly reducing arm fatigue. The engineering on this set-up is awesome. It should last for many, many years! Highly recommend it!

Q:
Will this boom fit my 2003 Moomba Outback? I laid a board across the boat just behind the windshield and it measured 7.5" (gap between the board and the rear side of the pylon, not on center)Asked on 8/22/2009 by Anonymous1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
It is hard to say with the information that is provided here, but you will need to have a 2 inch diameter factory pylon. There is a different boom used for V-Drive applications where the ski tow is not going through the floor of the boat. For more information you can visit the supplier's website at
