Comments about The Backside Group 0°F Mummy Sleeping Bag:
Let me start by saying that this review is based solely on initial impressions. After opening the box, this bag felt a little heavier than I expected, but still significantly lighter than my current sleep system. I pulled out my kitchen scale and got two consecutive readings of 4lbs 14ozs stored in the compression sack that came with it. The sack alone weighed 6ozs. This leaves the bag itself weighing nearly a pound above the advertised weight.
Other impressions are pretty positive. I did find one thread that seemed to have slightly pulled away from the seam, but not worried at all about overall durability. This bag is warm! I was unable to stay inside for more than a couple minutes at a time. Granted, I was in my living room on top of a BA Dual Core pad, but this still gives me quite a bit of confidence in its warmth. I will be writing a more detailed review once I have used it at least close to its temp rating.

Comments about The Backside Group 0°F Mummy Sleeping Bag:
This is a great sleeping bag. It's very warm down to neg.10F, but I would add a liner below that. Breaths well... even if it's water resistant (water proof is questionable). Also the extra leg room in the end of this long bag is prefect for stuff clothing in it to keep them warm and dry over night. Happy camping!

Comments about The Backside Group 0°F Mummy Sleeping Bag:
Lightweight enough, but man-made fibers never seem to pack down small enough: my only slight knock on this bag, which is why I rated it 4 instead of 5. All other areas of consideration: this bag is a 5. The bag is certainly light enough for a zero degree bag. Excellent workmanship in all areas, including the stuff sack. Warm and well fitted, the Backside company is an aggressive newcomer into this market.

Comments about The Backside Group 0°F Mummy Sleeping Bag:
I used this product on part of the AT and I love this sleeping bag. Packs small (for its size) with the compression sack and is very comfortable. The hood has a nice design and when not using it over your head it becomes pillowish and makes for extra padding. Make sure you get the correct temperature rating or you'll be very hot because this bag is true to its rating. Two minor things that could be corrected in one fix though. It is a tad heavier than I'd like to be backpacking with and it is probably made for a 6'5" person. Shorter sizes would cut on weight and get rid of the excess room. And lastly, I never put price in as a factor when picking gear out but at this price it's hard not to.
