Comments about Attwood Marine Attwood Raised Base Side Boat Light, red:
This product would have worked if it was as pictured in the advertising. Unfortunately both the green and red navigation lights were 90 degrees off and required substantial modification to make them compliant with coast guard regulations for side installation.

Comments about Attwood Marine Attwood Raised Base Side Boat Light, red:
I would have liked the light better if the base swiveled to allow north\south or east\west mounting on the boat deck. Otherwise, the light was easy to install. Seems rather light weight, not too durable. Time will tell.

Comments about Attwood Marine Attwood Raised Base Side Boat Light, red:
Overall the light was ok. Installed very easily and worked rather well. I had the light installed on my pontoon boat for just one week and used it three days in the water. I must say that I did not think the light was very bright itself, but it worked and that was fine to me.
The next weekend driving to another lake, I hit a bump in the road and the top lens housing popped off and is somewhere on the side of the road. I still have the base and light bulb sticking up but no red lense. It wouldn't have been so bad I suppose if on my way back home from the second lake another set of RxR tracks and there goes the green lens housing too.
I am sure that this would be a great product for some other applications, but for my pontoon boat it was just a waste of money.
