Comments about Aqua-Vu Aqua Vu AV760cz 7" Color Zoom Underwater Camera:

Welcome to the fishing channel...When ice fishing I have several electronics with me....This is the one my eyes are glued to all day long...I bought it just last winter...Unbelievable how bright and detailed the screen is when the camera is in very low light... You can actually watch the fish attack your bait...I learned a lot, first day...Awesome, Awesome, Awesome unit...Only draw back is, since I fish in a 135 foot deep lake, I wish the cable was even longer...But 99 percent of the time, the length is very adequate...Great customer support...When the first one was delivered, it was packaged wrong and I was sent the "C" instead of the "CZ"...AquaVu had the right one to my door in three days, with a Huge apology...Great people....I'm ordering a second one for my fishing nephews this fall....

This unit comes with two LED lights installed on the camera for low light conditions.
Naturally, the clearer the water, the farther you can see. As a general rule, in water the camera can see twice as far as the human eye — meaning that if you can see 3 feet down you will be able to see approximately 6 feet in front of the camera. But this is just a rule of thumb. Water bodies vary in water clarity and other characteristics. For anglers studying bottom structure, 2 feet of visibility is sufficient for underwater viewing, though in very clear water, it is possible to see up
        to 30 feet or more.
