This ball-and-socket mount allows full swivel of 360° at either the top or the bottom. They are ideal for mounting fishfinders, radar screens, speakers, multifunction displays, or any other accessory in a limited space. In addition, due to the unique double ball configuration, a broad range of possible positions is available. Simply loosen the locking ball knob to adjust or remove the unit completely. Stainless steel and powder-coated aluminum construction.

    Overton's description of this product tells me to select a length; then gives the possible answers 10ft, 4ft, 14ft, or 17ft. Can I assume that they mean inches?

    How well do these things hold a Lowrance HDS-5 uprightin rough water. Can I tighten it sufficiently to leave it in place when going across choppy water?
