Designed for bigger paddlers
Board glides forward with minimal effort
Wider board accommodates beginner paddlers
Stable, floaty design holds plenty of gear
Although a 14' stand-up paddleboard is the proper size for bigger paddlers, most options are too narrow or designed only for racing. Extra width and volume gives them a TR board that fits these paddlers properly, so they can enjoy extended paddling sessions without compromising any performance. The Amundson TR-T, however, is for all paddlers who enjoy the feel of slicing through the water and gliding forward with minimal effort. The dimensions and rockerline have been adjusted to trim out properly with higher weights, so the target paddler can really feel the difference. Lighter weight paddlers will appreciate it too, once they load it up with touring bags or fishing gear. Stable, floaty paddleboard has a complete set of inserts at the nose and tail for plenty of gear. Paddleboard weighs 33-1/2 lbs. 304-liter volume. For novice riders up to 220 lbs. For advanced riders up to 300 lbs. 14' x 29-1/2" x 7-1/4".
Rhino-Lite technology starts with a molded core of watertight fused-cell foam. The core is wrapped with fiberglass cloth with extra material on the rails and a thin veneer of wood on the deck to prevent heel dents. The board is placed in a heated vacuum mold with expanding epoxy resin. The heat and expanding pressure ensure the resin completely laminates the skin to the core, creating a light and tough board that is resistant to dings and delamination. Amundson's Rhino-Lite technology is the best combination of weight, durability, and value on the market.
