Comments about Airhead Slash II Tube:
We bought this one with the hopes of getting the 7-10 year old boys crossing the wake with confidence. This item allows them to use their knees and body weight to engage the rear fins, thus having some level of control/input. What a great design!! We found that the older and heavier kid in the back works best. Also, very easy to get back on while in the water. A big hit all day....

Comments about Airhead Slash II Tube:
This has provided hours of fun for our family this summer. Have never purchased an inflatable before(used to have the actual inner tube back in the day) but have been extremely pleased.

Comments about Airhead Slash II Tube:
Rope attaches under the inflatable causing it to throw an irritating fine spray in the eyes of a rider can be solved by wearing swim goggles, also this inflatable must be pulled at a much greater speed to get it out of the wake than most inflatables but it gives a steady ride even then.

Comments about Airhead Slash II Tube:
We have used this every weekend since we purchased it. It has held up to the antics of young adults who try to outdo each other with their stunts, on the Mississippi River being pulled at speeds up to 35 mph. Two adults going at high speeds do tend to bump heads when the waters are rough, but it has been an excellent choice for our family and friends. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a durable and fun raft.

Q:

A:
yes. it is just like the rip II. but extra room for a second rider and easier to handleAnswered on 7/3/2011 by lauderdale lake lady from lauderdale lakes, WIA:
YES THIS TUBE IS STEERABLE AND HAS PLASTIC FINS ON THE SIDE TO HELP IT STEER.Answered on 7/13/2011 by SCOTT (OVERTONS) from NCA:
Steerable
Two people can carve turns, both riders lean in the direction they want to turn and pull on the opposite handle. The plastic fins sewn onto the side of the cover do the carving.Answered on 7/13/2011 by seadog from NC
