We all enjoyed riding the Hot Dog... from my 4 year old niece to my 68 year old dad! It's fun to look at, has more control and interaction than a tube, and is perfect for riding with friends. It was hard for the older people to get back on once they fell off in deep water, but that's true of any float. The kids were able to bounce each other and be crazy, while the older people had a blast riding together. The construction seems really solid and it was no problem to hook to the tow rope. It's been a great water toy!

The product is very well built , strong and durable. The pictures and online video are a little deceiving, you can fit 3 people on it but they all better be small. Two average size adults can fit, but it is very hard on the knees. One adult can SIT on it comfortably, the seated position with legs out straight, makes for an interesting ride... just trying to stay on it. It's design makes it difficult to sling side to side, across the water(which is what makes other towables very fun). It's really for just going in a straight line, but if you can catch your own wake (depending on your boat manuverability) or the wake of another boat (doesn't have to be a big one and also done safely) then you can add some fun to the ride. It's an OK towable, just depends on what you want to do with it. I own 3 different towables and it rates in second place of the 3.

Comments about Airhead Hot Dog Towable:
I purchased this "Hot Dog" for my grandchildren for a Labor Day party on the lake. They were so excited and could not wait to go tubing. They LOVED it...as the boat turned, they leaned into the turn and hung on for dear life. It is so colorful and stands out among other tubing devices. It was worth every dime I payed for it, and we have it tucked away until they come down again. Thanks for such a fun in the sun experience.

Comments about Airhead Hot Dog Towable:
We ordered this at the last minute for our trip to Smith Mtn. Lake, and it arrived on time. Set up and inflation was easy with our electric inflator. The tube stayed pumped up all week, and only needed to be firmed up after sitting on cool nights.
Our group ranged from 7-52 yr. olds and we all had a blast either behind the jet ski, or 21' bow rider.
The most fun was towing it along with the Airhead G-Force beside it so we could do "tube wars" we could jump from one tube to another- non- stop laughs!

Can the hot dog be pulled with a sea doo 215 pwc.Asked on 6/2/2009 by gator from corsicana, tx1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
Your SC'd Seadoo should have no problem pulling this tube. Check your local and state laws though regarding towing capacity. Some states will not let you tow more people than the PWC is rated for and the max. capacity includes the driver.Answered on 6/4/2009 by Michael from Overtons
Q:
What is the weight limit on the Airhead Hot Dog three person?Asked on 5/26/2009 by Mac from Here1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
Mac:
Thank for your interest in the Airhead Hot Dog. Manufacture recommendations are 170lbs per person, so that would be 510 lbs. Now I was out on this two weeks ago and we had a guy at 185, myself at 225 and a big boy at 285 with no problems. But you have to make sure you have a boat that can pull all that weight through the water. Make sure that the tube is properly inflated to support all the riders.
I hope that helped.
Thanks,
Greg
