            THIS ITEM DOES NOT NEED TO BE INFLATED. IT COMES INFLATED, HOWEVER IT SHOULD NOT BE FIRM. THERE IS A VALVE ON THE BUMPER THAT WILL ACCEPT A NEEDLE BUT IT HAS TO BE INSERTED PRECISELY STRAIGHT OR ELSE WHEN YOU TAKE THE NEEDLE OUT IT WILL NOT CLOSE THE VALVE. DOCK EDGE WILL PROVIDE REPLACEMENT VALVES ANDD INSTRUCTIONS ON REPLACING THEM. TO GET THESE PLEASE CALL INTO OVERTON'S TECHNICAL DEPARTMENT AND WE WILL BE GLAD TO GET SOME FOR YOU!!!

              I purchased six of these in black after a pier remolding job. They look great and work just fine. I would like to have a little more air in the two at the entrance to the boat slip but I have not been successful in the inflation process. Comments from Overton’s tech help indicated that a volleyball sports needle should do the job however; it did not work for me.
