I fish the st.croix river alot and this is perfect for ripping soft plastics and hardbaits alike out of heavy cover(sticks,rocks,logs,weeds etc). Paired with the skeet reese victory 3000 with ten pound test this thing keeps me busy all day long. perfect sensitivity to jig for walleyes as well. also can handle your occasional 10-30lb catfish when played right. If your thinking about getting this,do it you wont regret it!
