Comments about Abu Garcia Pro Max LP Cast Combo, PMAX2/701MH; 70", Med. Heavy:

I picked this up & got 25% off which was great. I fished this 2 days at Blue Marsh Lake.
Day 1 = nothing, Day 2 = 33" Muskie on it. The Muskie was caught at the Stillen Basin at Blue Marsh Lake, down below the dam. ( Every snag, twitch, or whatever I felt in the sensitivity in the rod I would pull to set hook or see if I'm snagged. I pulled & had a Muskie which is my 2nd 1 from there. The fight was less than 1 min. the rod & reel were amazing handling a 33" Muskie. I ain't going to lie, Day 1 I was more setting the reel up than anything & did get backlash but, once you figure it out & get your technique down then, backlash shouldn't be a problem.
Congrats to who ever owns this setup & enjoys it.
