Product Description
asics The latest generation of ASICS' GT-1000 Series gets an energetic update, with even more cushioning and a sleek new upper. The additions of full-length SpEVA 55 lasting and a full-blown rubber outsole provide mild to moderate over-pronators an extra boost of comfort to the beloved bouncy ride. The Rearfoot and Forefoot GEL Cushioning Systems reduce shock during the impact and toe-off phases, allowing movement in multiple planes as the foot transitions through the gait cycle. The DuoMax dual-density midsole support system is sport-specifically positioned to enhance support and stability. The Trusstic System reduces the weight of the sole unit while retaining the structural integrity of the shoe. SpEVA midsole material improves bounce-back characteristics and decreases midsole breakdown. The full-length SpEVA 55 midsole delivers a soft but stable platform and improved comfort. The Guidance Line vertical flex groove decouples the tooling along the line of progression for enhanced gait efficiency. Lace-up design. Medium width. Imported.

Simple, comfy, narrow, and stylish

Comments about ASICS Womens GT-1000 2 Running Shoe:

This was one of the few companies where I could find all black tennis shoes in a narrow width (I'm travelling a lot, and so I wanted comfy but not loud-looking shoes). These are great! Fit great, look great, and have held up great so far. Would definitely recommend!

These are PERFECT

Comments about ASICS Womens GT-1000 2 Running Shoe:

I don't know what the other reviewers do with their sneakers, but I use these for everything. Except walking in snow. I've been wearing them for three years. My ONLY ISSUE IS THE SHOELACES. That is the SOLE REASON FOR THE FOUR STARS FOR DURABILITY. Running, walking and everything else around Manhattan, NY. is perfect.

Comments about ASICS Womens GT-1000 2 Running Shoe:

I use these for work. I know they are running shoes but at my work we are very active and need a good shoe that feels good on my feet standing on a hard concrete floor. These are the only brand of shoe that I feel has had the most cushion for my feet.

Was great until they started falling apart

Comments about ASICS Womens GT-1000 2 Running Shoe:

First of all, I'm in 9th grade, and 14 years old. I bought these shoes in October 2013, didn't use them for the first time till November 3rd 2013. I bought them specifically for the use of indoor track practice, nothing else. I have never worn them for anything else. Now, I will say that since November 3rd, they've gotten use five days a week for the past three months, with the exception of a week at Christmas, and three snow days since. My initial opinion of the shoes were that they are absolutely perfect. I love the gel cushion in the heel, they're light and easy to run in. I am a sprinter (short distances) by the way. That is, until, a couple weeks ago, I started finding problems with the shoes. First thing I noticed was that on the bottom of the left shoe, a piece of the tread had come loose and would drag. Then, one day, it just fell off! Now, another piece is loose, and I'm afraid it's going to fall off, and at that point I will not be able to use those sneakers anymore. Also, there is a place where one of the eyelets was completely ripped off and the lace is cut! Both things happened on the same shoe, and although I only have about eight more track practices left, I'm afraid they're going to fall apart before I get through the season! Before you say that I don't take good care of my sneakers, let me tell you that I do. I keep those sneakers in my track bag when I'm not wearing them. I only wear them at practice, I've never even worn them to school, or for that matter even outside unless we were doing a distance run. It's the shoes, there's a problem with them and I'm still trying to figure out what it is, and why they're falling apart.
