    After being on the boat on the water from April to October, the white throw life rings were anything but white. They were covered with mildew. I thought I would have to scrub and scrub to get it off, but all I had to do was spray it on and then, after a few seconds, wipe it off. Perfectly white again!

        I had some difficult mildew stains on my boatsto remove. I tried several different products that claim to do the same job but none compared to this 3M product. I have repurchased this product again and until I find something better I will continue to do so.

          Used on marine vinyl thsat was badly stained with mildew. In les than 15 minutes the vinly was almost like new again. Had to re-apply to tough stains, but still worked great.

              Tip when using this product remove the top, put it upside down on a smooth surface, spray area of mold, scrub with nylon brush and rinse well, reinstall on boat. worked great!

                  A:

                  No, not for use on any dyed fabric. Any mildew cleaner that really works has ingrediants that will turn colors like bleach. The only thing you could really try is a dish detergent.

                The seats on my Pontoon are "stained" - "discolored" - "mildew", I'm not really sure of the exact condition, regardless, I would like to revitalize the color in some manner. Do you have anything that will not only clean, but reintroduce a color back into the vinyl. The covers are currently a Creme and Dark Green, I would not mind if the Creme color even went to a darker Tan.

                  You may want to start with a vinyl cleaner and dressing such as 73608. If you don't like the results, you can try our Color Bond line of product such as 71901. If we don't offer a color you need, you may be able to order it through our special order dept. at 1-888-Overton.
