Comments about Humminbird 110 Fishin Buddy Portable Fishfinder:

    Good for trolling speeds.
Drops into sounder holder in seconds.
First time I used it a "fish" came across the screen. I was delighted and told my fishing buddy to short cast behind the boat and he caught a largemouth bass of decent size, in about a 30 seconds.
What more could you ask for from an inexpensive device. I love it.

    Ice fishing buddy

Comments about Humminbird 110 Fishin Buddy Portable Fishfinder:

Used for ice fishing on the St. Lawrence . Mounted on a piece of board and put in the hole. Good viewing, accurate fish identification, cold didn't bother the unit. It takes some work

to design a bracket for ice fishing, but then it works well. Like it better than a flasher, but doesn't provide as much ID for lure, jigs, etc.

                Thank you for your question.
There is no adapter to convert this unit to 12v. If you are looking to hardware a fishfinder--you may want to look at the Piranha Max series such as item# 710289.
