          Do you feel lucky....? In 32 years as a professional trucker, I've seen far too many boat trailers lose wheels going down the road. This can be prevented by keeping grease IN the hubs and water OUT. Bearing Buddies are the answer. They provide cheap insurance and peace of mind.

              What can I say? Measure your inner hub diameter with a caliper, order the coresponding sized part, tap in the bearing buddy with a hammer and wood block, fill it with grease, and forget about it! The only way they can make this process easier is to send along someone to install it for you!!
              Great product, great price, great process of installation.

                  A:

                  You should be able to pull the existing bearing buddy off and read the size that is printed on them. If not, you can call our tech department and they can either send you a measuring tool or walk you through the proper way to measure your bearings.

                  Hi John,
                  I just used a ruler and measured across the inside of the opening after removing the protective cap from the hub. It appeared to be 2 inches so I ordered 1.98" Bearing Buddy’s. I used the end of a foot long 2x4 to hold the Bearing Buddy at the opening where the cap was removed, while gently tapping on the other end of the 2x4 with a hammer. Continue checking that it is going in straight and make corrections by moving the angle of the 2x4 if it is not. There is a shoulder that will stop any further insertion. I don't know all the other sizes that are available but, unless they are very similar in size to one another, a plain ruler should work fine. Then find the size that is a couple of hundredths of an inch different than your ruler measurement. After installation, don't forget to load the hub with grease until the piston that holds the grease fitting moves close to the outer edge. It’s spring loaded. It’ll all be logical once you start. Hope this helps.
