Comments about Dock Edge Stationary Dock Hardware - Leg Pipe Sand Auger:
I have had a dock on the Chippewa River in Wisconsin for 10 years now and I used 4 of these for my dock posts with 1.5 inch id. galvanized plumbing pipe. I have had the river come up 13 feet and my dock was under that much water, dock never moved even with the fast current. My only suggestion is to use stainless steel bolts for the set screws. Great product. Picture is of my dock under 6 feet of water, you can see the two poles closest to shore and the stair railing, the other two posts are under water, river went down dock was fine.
Was this a gift?:
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
