I have had this rope for several years and loved it. Recently the handle covering split and is in the process of falling off. Is this handle available alone without the full rope?

                  A:

The purpose of this rope is to assist you up and out of a deep water start by gradually easing the tip of the ski down until you are standing. It is a standard slalom ski rope.

                • A:

Yes, it works like a normal rope and unless you are a very advanced skier you won't be able to tell the difference while you ski.

Absolutely, it will help keep the ski straight as you are coming up out of the water. This is a great idea and makes it much easier.

                • A:

I have this rope. You simply put your ski in the bridle before the start and forget about it. If you wobble to one side it helps you correct and stay straight. As you rise out of the water the bridle rises off the ski automatically, no extra action needed on the skier's part.

                • A:

I have this rope. There is a float attached to the cross piece to keep the handle afloat. You can see this in the picture. If that float comes off, as mine did, the handle will no longer float. I've considered injecting the handle with foam, but have not. Its a minor annoyance, the handle/bridle works great for slalom starts.
