All pontoon railings should have these. Allows water to run out and not lay inside. I wish there were color options and a little higher. Only color is gray and they really show up on my jade carpeting. Stacking them only makes the color difference show up even more. None the less, great idea.

I purchased the risers because the water kept rotting my pontoon carpet. The risers went in easy, but had to get longer bolts(sort of expected that). Only problem was they sunk into the new carpet too far. Ended up putting a couple stainless steel washers under them to raise it higher(guess you could do that instead). However, I looked at some other pontoons that had the fence on the aluminum skirt and they worked very well. Just wish they had a little thicker ones for heavier carpet. Have heard of doubling them up, but that would make them much harder to install as they don't stack well. Overall not a bad product. Definitely a good Idea.

Comments about Toonmate Pontoon Fence Riser Kit:
These work great for fresh water boating. A heavy grade of aluminum would be nice for longer durability.

Comments about Toonmate Pontoon Fence Riser Kit:
Easy to install after I replaced the carpet. They look good and hopefully make the carpet last longer than it did last time. Mold ate the last carpet.

Comments about Toonmate Pontoon Fence Riser Kit:
I installed these on my Gillgetter compact pontoon. The rails on this pontoon are only 1" but the installation is still visually pleasing. I was able to use all of my existing hardware as there was enough screw length for the additional distance.
Overall pleased with the installation.

Worked real good for my application. Looks real good. Easy to install. My pontoon looks nice with these installed and now the flooring stays dry at the edges.

Q:
I already have some risers from another source, but need more. My question what is the color of your risers ? The ones I currently have installed are a light gray.Asked on 8/24/2010 by Anonymous2 answers

A:
These are light gray also. Overton's sells the ones you have to remove the entire bolt to place through the riser, or the set you can slide around the bolt without taking the bolt out all the way. Both types are light gray.Answered on 6/8/2011 by Tyra from Richmond, VAVERIFIED BUYER

Q:
Is there a thicker stand-off product that will porvide a talled spaceing?
When I use the ones I have they are compressed into the carpet so much that there is still no air movement to dry out the carpet.
Are they stackable?Asked on 1/6/2010 by Rex from Elkhart, IN2 answers
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
Unfortunately, this is the standard size made and the only one we carry. You could try to stack them on each other, but I do not have any proven information that it would work.Answered on 1/13/2010 by Bryant from TechA:
You can stack them with the flat sides together. (2 max) a drop of silicone sealer in between to keep them lined up.Answered on 7/26/2010 by Steverie from Lake Ft. Gibson, OK

A:
It really does depend on how your fencing is sectioned being that it varies greatly in between boats. I would say 12 to 24 inches is a good gauge.Answered on 9/30/2009 by Bryant C from Tech Department
