Although this product is functional and does its job, it wasn't formed exactly at a 90 degree angle so when I pulled it in tight to secure to the dock, the bottom portion flairs out from the dock. Inflating the unit only makes this worse. I have tied a small rope around the bottom to pull it in.

I have a similar question as another person. I am looking for a corner peiece that I can fasten at least twice on each of the sides and not from the top. When entering my boathouse, there is a metal brace that rubs my boat as I enter the boathouse. Need to pad that with something.Asked on 5/23/2011 by Steve from Lexington, KY1 answer

Q:
Can this corner dock fender be mounted to a cement sea wall?Asked on 9/16/2010 by Anonymous2 answers
A:
Yes. Just keep in mind that this is durable vinyl, but vinyl, none the less. Meaning that abrassive concrete may eventually rub a hole in it.Answered on 9/27/2010 by Bryant from TechVERIFIED BUYER

I would like to mount a bumper on a 4"x6" vertical piling, which I sometimes hit when pulling in to my boathouse.Asked on 6/16/2010 by Jeff in FL0 answers
Q:
In your description of the other dock fenders by Dockmate that are not for corners, you state that they must be inflated with a needle. Does this need to be inflated as well?Asked on 4/7/2010 by Anonymous4 answers
A:
The corner fender does have a needle valve for inflation. This is mainly to allow you to adjust the firmness of the bumper and doesn't necessarily mean that you have to inflate them. When the fenders are new you may need to slightly inflate them to give the fender a full shape but the heat from the sun will naturally do this in most cases.Answered on 4/23/2010 by Michael from Overton'sVERIFIED BUYER

A:
Yes, there is a needle fill at the bottom of the fender. It must be filled after installation or the shape becomes malformed and will not mount flat to the dock.Answered on 5/4/2010 by Capt Bill from Chicago, IL

Can this be mounted by the sides since I plan to mount it on a tall vertical dock storage shed corner at the outside corner of my dock?Asked on 1/30/2010 by John from Columbus, OH1 answer

A:
THE TOP IS ENCLOSED FOR FASTENING PURPOSES SO IT NEEDS TO FIT OVER THE TOP OF A CORNER POST OR DOCK LIKE YOU SEE IN THE PICTURE. IF YOU CUT THE TOP OFF THERE IN ONLY TWO HOLES LEFT TO FASTEN AND YOU WILL PROBABLY CUT INTO THE AIR CHAMBER.
